When closing the valve, the butterfly plate rotates 0~90 degrees, and gradually compress the valve seat liner made of rubber, so that the elastic force formed by elastic deformation of the valve seat liner as the necessary sealing specific pressure to ensure the sealing of the valve.

Because of its own structure, the midline butterfly valve can only be made into soft sealed butterfly valve, so the midline butterfly valve can only be used in the low pressure normal temperature working environment, which is not suitable for high temperature and high pressure conditions.
