Thermal spraying process

With the non-reading anti-war of thermal spraying technology, more and more new spraying materials and new process technologies continue to appear, and the performance of the coating is diverse and continuously improved, so that its application fields quickly spread throughout aviation, aerospace, automobile, machinery, shipbuilding, petroleum, chemical industry, railway, bridge, mining, metallurgy and electronics and many other industries, so as to meet people's special functional requirements such as wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature oxidation resistance, heat cycle resistance, heat conduction and electrical properties.

 

There are many kinds of thermal spraying process methods, and the equipment, technical characteristics and final coating properties obtained are all different, and the thermal spraying method should be determined by the requirements of the service conditions of the machine on the performance of the layer, the size, shape, material, batch and construction conditions of the parts.

 

1) For wear-resistant coatings with low load-bearing, corrosion-resistant coatings that can improve the corrosion resistance of parts. When the melting point of the spraying material does not exceed 2500°C, flame spraying with a lower cost of equipment health can be used.

2) For parts with high coating performance requirements or more valuable, especially when spraying high melting point ceramic materials, plasma spraying should be used.

3) Corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant metal coatings with large engineering quantities should be sprayed with arc spraying.

4) Metal or alloy coatings that require high adhesion and low porosity can be sprayed at gas flame supersonic speed, and metal and ceramic coatings that require high binding strength and low porosity can be sprayed with supersonic plasma. There are many different types of spraying materials, and the coating properties obtained from composite materials such as metals, alloys, and ceramics vary greatly. The design of the coating is mainly determined by the use environment and service conditions of the organic parts.
